Quickstart

The basic flow

1. Create or select a System.
2. Define a Flow that describes the workflow to validate.
3. Start a Run with the required pre-run questions.
4. Review the generated Report and its Evidence Bundle.

Flows belong to Systems. Runs are separate execution records. Reports are run outputs.

Choose the right integration

• Use the Product API for application integrations and resource management.
• Use the global/customer MCP at https://mcp.fideslayer.com/mcp for an authenticated personal agent.
• Use the docs-only MCP at https://docs.fideslayer.com/mcp for documentation discovery and retrieval.

These MCPs are separate services with separate tool surfaces. Do not use the docs MCP for product mutations or product authorization.
